Frequently asked questions
What does The Oracle do?
The Oracle is a sports analytics and prediction market intelligence product. It aggregates public odds, prediction market signals, and ESPN box score data to surface model-estimated edges and confidence scores on upcoming sports events. It is informational only.
Does The Oracle accept wagers or hold funds?
No. The Oracle never accepts wagers, holds funds, or facilitates a bet. Nothing inside the product places, settles, or pays out a wager. All numbers shown are informational analytics derived from public market data.
How are picks generated?
Picks are produced by a quantitative pipeline that blends sportsbook implied probabilities with prediction market signals, ESPN injury and roster data, and situational modifiers such as rest, fatigue, venue strength, and recent form. Only events that exceed minimum edge and confidence thresholds are surfaced.
Where does the data come from?
Live market intelligence is aggregated from licensed odds feeds and public prediction market sources. Roster availability, injuries, and box scores are pulled from public ESPN endpoints. Provider names beyond what is shown in the product are intentionally not disclosed.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to Account → Data & privacy → Delete account. Type your email to confirm. This permanently removes your Oracle account and associated app data. Deleting your Oracle account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel it with Apple.
How do I manage or refund an App Store subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Use Manage Subscriptions on Apple, or use Manage Subscription inside the app. Deleting the app or your Oracle account does not cancel Apple billing. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What is the refund policy for web purchases?
For purchases made on the web, Whop processes payment. Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled through your Whop account under the Whop refund policy in effect at the time of purchase. The Oracle cannot issue refunds on Whop’s behalf.
Who can use The Oracle?
You must be 18 or older to use The Oracle, and 21 or older in jurisdictions where that is the legal age for sports betting related content. The age gate must be confirmed before any protected content renders.
I think I may have a gambling problem. Where can I get help?
If gambling is causing harm, stop and reach out. In the United States call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, or visit ncpgambling.org. International users should consult their local problem gambling support service. The Oracle is an analytics product and is not a substitute for professional help.
I found a bug or have a feature request. What should I do?
Email support@theoracle.app with a short description, the screen you were on, and a screenshot if possible. Bug reports that include the device, OS version, and steps to reproduce are triaged fastest.
